    New Contributor Intro: Lindsey

Published: Feb 3, 2015 · Modified: Jan 25, 2020 by Whitney Reist · This post may contain affiliate links |

Today I'm excited to begin the first of the introductions to my new Sweet Cayenne authors - which happen to also be my family! Lindsey is my 26 year old sister (the 2nd of the 4 girls)  and lives in Virginia with her husband and former Marine, Matt. They were high school sweethearts and have the sweetest of love stories. You should ask her about it sometime! I'm so excited and grateful that she's decided to dive into this blogging journey with me - and that Matt is super supportive and excited for her new venture!

One of the reasons I'm most excited about Lindsey writing for SC is that she has a knack for creating a super-stylish wardrobe with lots of variety while staying within a set shopping budget. This gal knows how to find the deals; whether it be in-store or online, and doesn't mind spending an hour {or two} in a store like TJ-Maxx to find the most unique and versatile pieces. I'm always in awe of all the chic-ness when I comb through her Pinterest boards, and can't wait for her to start pinning for Sweet Cayenne!

Here's a fun questionnaire I had Lindsey complete so you can get to know her better!

    Personal Profile:
    • Name -Lindsey Thompson
    • Age- 26
    • Eye color- hazel

    2. Describe your style in 3 words: simple, boho, classy

    3. What are you wearing right now? Patterned leggings, sheer blouse and a pendant necklace. Gotta be comfy!

    4. What accessory to you most often use to transform an outfit and why?

A necklace. It can either be the focal point that pulls a look together or a complement to whatever look/style you're trying to achieve.

    5. What would you eat for your very last meal? Anything Southern! {Fried chicken is a common birthday dinner request} I'd be in trouble if I ever lived in Oxford, MS (where my grandparents used to live) - they have so many amazing Southern-style restaurants there!

    6. Describe your top 3 goals for 2015.
    - Be healthier (isn't that everyone's?) - isn't it nice that I have 2 dietitians {Whitney and Ryan} in my family???
    - Start a family - Matt and I are in the process of becoming foster parents right now.
    - Learn new cooking skills - Whitney is my kitchen-help-hotline!

    7. What are you most excited about as you start to contribute to the Sweet Cayenne blog?

I'm excited to discover and share style tips and trends! I could talk about fashion all day, and I love to see what other people are into with their style as well.
