1 ½ cupsfreshly-squeezed lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons), plus 2 tablespoons
3cupscold, filtered water
1 ¼cup pure cane sugar or Splenda, divided
2mediumpeaches, pitted, unpeeled, and sliced (or 1 ½ cups of frozen peaches)
Combine the lemon juice, water, and 1 cup of sugar or Splenda. Whisk until the sweetener dissolves. Sweeten to taste as needed. Chill until ready to serve.
Combine the sliced peaches, ¼ cup of sugar or Splenda, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a blender. Blend until a smooth puree forms. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Pour lemonade over a cup of ice. Stir in 1-2 tablesoons of the peach puree until well combined. Enjoy!
