It's about time I gave a little attention to summer's hottest clothing and accessory detail: pom poms! I'm seeing them on practically everything; from shoes, to purses, swim suits, rompers, pajamas, scarves, earrings - you name it, these little fluff balls are everywhere!

Is it hot where you live yet? We've had exceptionally hot weather in central MO - although this is only my second summer living here, it feels like I'm back in TX! That's why I love this little cotton romper so much. It's light breathable fabric keeps me cool and comfortable on these days of sweltering 90+ degree weather! I'm thinking this will be my go-to look for vacation days - we've got trips to Dallas and Pigeon Forge coming up soon so I know I'll get plenty of wear from this piece. Plus I think the fun print and tassels on the romper hem just scream summertime!
And can we just take a minute to talk about that clutch??? I seriously can't get over how darling it is. I'd been looking for a fun, colorful bag to carry around this summer and wanted one with lots of pretty details. I was thrilled to find this one at Asos for under $50 - which is a steal considering most of the bags on the market like this are upwards of $100! It adds such an energetic pop of color to solids and monochromatic outfits.
