Save Vs. Splurge - Handbag Edition

Save vs. Splurge Handbag Edition - ideas and inspiration for spring handbags - should you save or splurge?

Happy Friday everyone! This weekend I'm thinking about warmer weather, spring clothes, and new purses...a new purse in a crisp neutral or juicy color is the perfect way to freshen up transitional outfits and add a touch of spring to your wardrobe! Since purses are such a closet workhorse and can really pull an outfit together, it can be a good idea to splurge on a well-crafted, timeless handbag that will last a while and be a favorite for years to come. But, if you like to keep up with trends and are on a tight budget, you might opt for a more wallet-friendly find to keep your look on-point but avoid breaking the bank! I've put together a collection of some of my favorite spring handbags in this edition of Save vs. Splurge to give you inspiration for your next purse purchase. As you will see, there are some great finds in both categories - the decision to save or splurge is up to you!

    Shopper Bags:

Save - This shopper bag with a faux snakeskin finish is simple and classy but definitely not boring with the added texture! At $42.77 it’s definitely a steal. Everything I have ordered from ASOS has been top quality.

Splurge - A similar neutral-colored shopper from Fossil features high-quality leather and gold hardware. This bag is an investment piece that will last for years and only get better with time!

Splurge - How cool is this ombre backpack?! What a cute way to vamp up your spring semester style! If I were back in school I might start saving up for this one pronto.

Save - Blush-hued clothing and accessories are all the rage this spring. I love the dainty scalloped edges on this bag; so chic and feminine!

Splurge - This gorgeous tote from Tory Burch would make any girl swoon! This handbag is a glamorous and sophisticated investment piece that can pull together so many different looks.
