    Spring Fashion Trends: Part 2

Published: Apr 6, 2015 · Modified: Apr 15, 2020 by Whitney Reist · This post may contain affiliate links |

    Spring Fashion Trends

Time for Part Two of my favorite spring fashion trends (see part one here)! Today I’m focusing on some of my favorite Bohemian-inspired looks. If you’re thinking that this style isn’t for you, don’t make your mind up just yet! Bohemian style doesn’t have to mean a headband of flowers and jewelry on your feet. It can be much simpler! For this post I’ve picked three of my favorite trends that I hope you will adore as much as I do.

    1. The Harem Pant - I first discovered these about three years ago at an Urban Outfitters before they had really become popular. This year they have burst on the scene in full force! They can also be known as “joggers;" although when you specifically search for “harem pants,” you will find them to be a bit baggier than the jogger version. You can find these in solid colors or all kinds of prints!

    Printed Joggers

These look best worn with a flowy cropped top or a more fitted shirt tucked in. If you’re blessed with curves then sometimes you will have to try on several different pairs before you find the most flattering fit. But don’t get discouraged! I promise there is a pair out there just for you. Check out these different styles!

    2. The Peasant Blouse - easy, breezy, fun and comfortable are words that come to mind for this trend. And because of their fun prints, you don’t have to put much effort into accessories because this shirt likes to be the center of attention. Pair these shirts with some skinny jeans and wedges and you’re good to go! I found this blouse at a cute little store in Christiansburg called Local Yokels, but don’t worry if you’re not local, check out the  cute options below!

I added some flair to my outfit with this crocheted vest (and a cute puppy named Mogli), which brings me to my next trend…

    3. The Fringe Benefit - fringe is no longer just for cowboy boots. Whether on shoes, skirts, purses or shirts, it is one of the biggest fashion trends for 2015. But please, don’t wear it all at once! One item per outfit should do the trick. For today’s post we’re featuring it on Valory’s shoes and my crocheted vest (also found at Local Yokels). I’ve found some similar options for you here below, as well as some fun fringe sandals!

We’d love to see some pictures of you rocking these styles! Remember to try something new and have FUN with it - tag your looks on Instagram or Twitter with #sweetcayenne so we can see what you come up with! And be sure to check out Spring Fashion Trends Part One if you missed it.
