Today I'm talking off-the-shoulder details....this is one of my favorite trends for blouses right now!
Outfit Details: Off-the-shoulder blouse: Nordstrom (similar here) | Distressed jeans: JCrew (similar here) | Layered Marble Bead Necklace: Bauble Bar | Coral Wedges: Urban Outfitters (similar here)
Off-the-shoulder tops are everywhere you look these days, and I'm not mad about it! This is such a fun look to pair with skinny jeans or a high-waisted pencil skirt. Slim or straight bottoms, whether they be pants or skirts, look best with this type of top since the top is typically wide and has a "flowy" effect. The off-the-shoulder look is great if you like to add a Bohemian element to you look or if your shoulders/collarbone are a feature you'd like to accentuate. I'm a small-busted gal with a long torso and petite upper body, so drawing attention to my shoulders is tried-and-true trick I can implement to flatter my body type. But really, off-the-shoulder top and dresses look great on everyone in my opinion!
This layered beaded necklace I'm wearing is from BaubleBar, my new favorite place to get stylish, affordable jewelry. They have such unique pieces and offer great discounts (20% off entire purchase for first time customers!). Not gonna lie, I'm a huge fan. And don't you love the marble effect on these beads? It seems like marble prints are on everything right now - from cell phone cases, to laptop covers, to day planners!
Since this look features tone-on-tone blue hues, I thought it'd be fun to add a pop of color to my feet and chose these fun, braided coral wedge sandals to complete the look. Wedge sandals are my favorite because I like height without the pain of wearing a heel! Fashion shouldn't always be painful.....
