Blackberry Lime SPRITZER! Cold, fizzy, fruity, refreshing, aka all the things you want in a sunny day, front porch sipper. If you come over to my place for a cold drink, this is what we will be having!

Overhead shot of mason jars filled with a cold blackberry drink and garnished with a mint sprig and lime slice. The jars are sitting in a basket tray with a can of Kroger Blackberry Citrus Seltzer Water.

As the weather is getting warmer {thank you Lord!!!}, I have come to the shocking realization that there are ZERO warm weather beverages on this blog. And that fact, to me, is disturbing, as it is an indicator that I am not serving you well in the drink recipe department. So let's change that this spring and summer, shall we?

We'll start with this Blackberry Lime Spritzer because I'm just giddy over the fact that we have actual blackberry vines growing onto our fence in the backyard, and I just planted mint a few weeks ago. Which means, in a few short months, I'll be serving this drink to guests with blackberries and mint from my own yard.......yeah, I know, how extra is that?!? We fancy up in here...sometimes.

This drink is perfect for anyone who:

    • Loves a good mocktail
    • Appreciates a hint of sweetness in a drink without going overboard
    • Is a La Croix/flavored bubbly water fan
    • Likes a good, easy, "no recipe" recipe

Where are my people at??? Is this you? Let's toast to a good backyard/front porch, warm weather sipper like this one. The blackberry jam is a fun/unexpected way to add a bit of sweetness to an otherwise bland soda water, and the lime juice + mint combo really make it come to life. And as you might expect, the drink tastes better as it sits and "muddles". I highly recommend sipping on it through a straw, so you get a nice slurp of jammy bits every now and then. So fun!
